Prince William Chamber Scholarship Program
Through the Prince William Chamber Scholarship Program, we seek to support higher education by awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have shown a demonstrated commitment to both academic success and community involvement. This year, our goal is to provide three (3) scholarship awards in amounts of up to $2,500 each.
DEADLINE EXTENDED! Completed application packages, including recommendation letter and transcript, are due to the Chamber no later than March 19, 2012. Eligibility criteria requires that applicant:
- Is an employee of, or the dependent of an employee of, a current Chamber member company
- Is a graduating high school senior
- Plans to enroll in an accredited community college, trade school, college or university;
- Has a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Demonstrates leadership and commitment to the community through involvement in extracurricular and/or volunteer activities;
- Submits completed application form, student essay, recommendation letter from a teacher, and a copy of the high school transcripts.
