Spotlight: Stonewall Golf Club

Did you know that Gainesville, Virginia is home to Stonewall Golf Club, a public-access daily fee golf course that been selected as one of the “Best Places to Play,” according to GOLF Magazine?  Many people living and working in Western Prince William County are not aware of this gem located right in their backyard!

Stonewall Golf Club (www.stonewallgolfclub.com) is an 18 hole Tom Jackson designed championship golf course conveniently located off of route 29 just two miles from route 66.  This high end daily fee golf course is often mistakenly thought of as a private club due to its setting in the Lake Manassas residential community and its close proximity to the private Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.

Stonewall is open to the public and welcomes guests who would like to play golf, host a special event, or have a meeting over lunch.  At the club guests can enjoy a lot more than just golf. It is also a great place to learn the game as Erika Larkin, PGA Director of Instruction offers group and individual lessons (www.larkingolf.com).  The Brass Cannon restaurant serves lunch daily and dinner Thursday through Saturday.  As a premier wedding and special event venue in Northern Virginia, Stonewall hosts over fifty five weddings each year!  With Lake Manassas as a perfect backdrop for any gathering, you can host your wedding, social or corporate event in the facility’s Magnolia Room Ballroom and Terrace.

Stonewall Golf Club prides itself on having friendly, flexible and professional staff to make your event, meeting, outing or casual day of golf a special experience.  When you are a guest at Stonewall you are treated as if you were a member of a private club!
